Madonna will go behind the camera to direct the Madonnabio-pic, in the style of Elton John’s Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody about Freddie Mercury the lead singer in Queen.
Madonna released a statement on Tuesday. (quote) “The focus of this film will always be music. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”
Madonna has written a script along with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody. There’s no better person to tell the story of her five-decade career. However, you can expect the movie to be heavily varnished. (Variety).
