ADELE: Triumphant Return to London

British fans could not get enough of Adele at her first hometown show in five years. Thousands arrived seven hours in advance to hear just the soundcheck.

Adele greeted last weekend’s concertgoers that got a two-hour show. (quote) “My God, I’m back at home. It’s strange to be in front of a crowd again.” (Variety)

More than 65,000 packed Hyde Park on consecutive nights, Friday and Saturday. Down near the stage, Friday’s crowd was packed like sardines and they suffered in the unusually high temps for England. Adele stopped her concert four times to check on the health of concertgoers that appeared to be in distress. (New York Post)
