R. KELLY: Defense Rests

The defense rested on Friday in the federal trial of R. Kelly.

The judge prepped the court for closing arguments this week followed by jury deliberation.

It’s possible that R. Kelly learns his fate this week.

Federal prosecutors charged him with 13 counts including child porn, sexual activity with minors and obstructing the investigation into R. Kelly’s sexual relationship with a teenage goddaughter. (Chicago Tribune)
