KANYE WEST: Another Day, Another Lawsuit

Kanye has been hit with yet another lawsuit from a former employee.

Ye is being accused of unfair labor practices and racial discrimination by a Black worker who says he suffered discrimination, harassment and retaliation from Yeezy as an employee of the Donda academy. According to Benjamin Deshon Provo, “[He] frequently screamed at and berated Black employees, while in contrast, he never so much as raised his tone of voice toward White staff.” He also claims Ye ordered him to convert from being Muslim to Christianity, and ordered him to cut his hair or be fired.

The suit also alleges Ye made him “engage in violent and dangerous tactics against the paparazzi,” cut his pay, and paid him less than non-Black counterparts. He is seeking $35,000 in damages.

In other Yeezy news, the investigation into the alleged battery, where he was said to have punched one of the Houston twins, looks to be closing without charges or consequence. TMZ reports that “nobody has spoken to police in the aftermath of LAPD taking their battery report last week.” Cops think Ye and the brothers have been speaking privately to settle matters.
