Self-hate is a real thing and although we love Serena Williams…some of us wonder why her skin looked different.
A photo of Williams surfaced over the week and let’s just say she since took the photo down due to the heavy criticism.
“While some called out whichever makeup artist or photo editor who applied the look on Serena, many accused the winner of the most combined Grand Slam titles of gradually bleaching her skin. After various social media users posted memes and side-by-side photos of the Instagram post and older photos of Serena, the photo was deleted from her page,” per VladTV.
Whoever that was didn’t look like Williams because it was shocking.
I think it was a combination of bad makeup, lightning and whoever was taking the photo.
I really hope she isn’t bleaching her skin even though we know she has had some work done on her face.
