Drake’s latest album is the biggest release of the year, at least so far.

Certified Lover Boy had the biggest first week numbers of any album that’s dropped in 2021. In fact, Drizzy’s numbers are so big that it propelled him into nine of the top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 — making him the first artist to ever achieve such a feat. He managed to lock down all of the top five spots — a rarity which only The Beatles managed to do before him for a week back in 1964.

In case you’re wondering, the only non-Drake name in the Top 10 is Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi‘s “Stay.”

No matter how you crunch the numbers, one thing is clear — Drake has one of the single most dominant weeks in the history of the 63-year-old Hot 100 chart. (Billboard)
