Rami Malek is a seasoned actor who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Queen singer Freddie Mercury in the rock bio-pic Bohemian Rhapsody. And yet, Malek admits he was no match for Daniel Craig on the set of the new James Bond flick No Time to Die, in which he plays a villain.
Rami revealed on The Graham Norton Show, (quote) “When you see him on stage, on the 007 stage, and he’s full James Bond. I will say, the second I got out there there were moments I dropped lines and I was like, ‘Oh, this is because I’m looking straight at James Bond.’ I couldn’t handle it.”
Apparently, Daniel Craig didn’t notice he’d rattled Rami’s cage. He said, (quote) “He’s brilliant by the way. He’s absolutely brilliant, as all of these guys are. They’re just stunning in the movie,” referring to Rami and the film’s other stars, Lea Seydoux, and Lashana Lynch. (Insider)
