Introducing Onyx Carter, the son of Iggy Azalea and PlayBoi Carti!
Iggy took to her Instagram earlier today to share new photos of her son, whom she has kept out of the public’s eye since his birth. The reveal comes after Iggy announced this week that she and her boyfriend PlayBoi Carti had split.
On Friday night, Iggy posted a series of Instagram stories that suggested that she was no longer with Carti. She wrote, “You lost a real 1… People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone. One thing I’ll never understand is how liars live with themselves. That sh*t don’t eat y’all up inside?”
She later further clarified today saying, “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship.”
Iggy and Carti began dating on and off in 2018 and welcomed their son earlier this year in April.
A couple months later in June, Azalea revealed that she had welcomed her baby boy. “I have a son,” Azalea shared. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,” the private entertainer wrote.
Fans suspected Iggy Azalea was pregnant back in December 2019. The recording artist stopped posting on Instagram as much and took on angles in her photos meant to hide her protruding stomach. Iggy stopped posting new photos altogether after several celebrity news sites presented the notion of her expecting her first child with Playboi Carti.
“I want to make his life private, but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret,” Iggy shared in continued in her Instagram Story. “I love him beyond words,” the celebrity mom declared.
Onyx Carter is the only child of Iggy and PlayBoi Carti.
