It’s no secret that Snoop Dogg has been in the spotlight since before the Summer Olympics even started. So would it surprise you to learn, that in between torch relays, color commentary, pin-trading, palling around with athletes, and linking up with his old pal Martha Stewart, that he’s also (allegedly) getting paid a fortune to do it all?

Now, take this one with a grain of salt, but a New York-based venture capitalist who is currently in Paris to see the games claims to have overheard just how much the D-O-Double-G is allegedly earning each day he creates content and broadcasts for NBC and Peacock. Can you guess how much?

Whatever number you have in mind — the alleged figure is even higher. Henry L. McNamara tweeted, “Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner, he said Snoop gets paid $500,000 a day plus expenses to be here promoting [the] Olympics. From “Gin and Juice” to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics — what a world.”
