Shaquille O’Neal is headed to court — but not the hoops court.
He’s suing the owners of a cannabis company he invested in five years ago. He and fellow plaintiff Jerome Crawford say they gave the company $150,000, but never saw a dime in returns. The company apparently never pursued any licenses or produced any product, and in 2018 Shaq threatened to sue. So the company agreed to pay back the money in $10,000 installments.
But Shaq says that never happened either. So now he’s suing for more than $1 million, which would cover his initial investment, interest and the estimated profits he should have seen. (TMZ)
