Prince Andrew has reportedly reached a tentative settlement with his sexual abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre.
Giuffre is the woman who claims she was 17 years old when she was raped by Prince Andrew at least three times, including on the private island owned by now-dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew has denied the claim and insists he has no memory of ever meeting her. The settlement, according to court documents, states that the British royal “intends to make a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.” It continues, “Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”
Both parties have agreed to the principal terms of the settlement and have asked the judge to dismiss the case. (CNBC)
