NICKI MINAJ: Bribed Husband’s Rape Victim

Nicki Minaj and husband Kenneth Petty find themselves in a legal battle with his rape victim.

They failed to persuade Jennifer Hough to backtrack her 1994 statement to authorities about Petty’s sexual assault when she was just 16 years old. Nicki called to convince Jennifer to “help out.” Nicki offered “as a bonus” to send a personalized birthday video to Hough’s daughter.

Jennifer Hough sued for “witness intimidation, harassment and emotional distress.” She alleged that Nicki and Kenneth offered a bribe of $20,000. When she refused, they upped the ante to $500,000.

The calls and harassment started shortly after Petty’s arrest last year in California. He failed to register as a sex offender when relocating from New York with Nicki Minaj. Last week, he negotiated a deal with feds to avoid jail time. He faced 10 years behind bars. (Billboard)
