Rapper Jay-Z and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos may become business partners.

The two billionaires are exploring a bid on the NFL franchise the Washington Commanders. The team owner, Dan Snyder, announced he hired Bank of America Securities to determine the Commanders’ value on the market and then assist with the sales transaction. (CNBC)

Bezos and Jay-Z are not alone in having interest in this franchise. TV producer Byron Allen has also looked into purchasing the Commanders, which expects the winning bid to be around $5 billion. (NBC Sports)

The league would like nothing more than to see Dan Snyder go. As owner, he’s fostered a “toxic workplace culture” that included sexually harassing the cheer squad. In addition, federal prosecutors are investigated “financial improprieties” in the Commanders’ front office. Previously there were reports that Snyder hired private detectives to find skeletons in NFL team owners’ closest to be used against them (Bloomberg)
