CHRIS REDD: Recovering After Random Attack

Chris Redd suffered two black eyes and large gash on his nose in Wednesday night’s random attack in New York.

The SNL alum was walking into the Comedy Cellar when a man wearing a security jacket and a mask walked up and sucker-punched him in the face before running away. Redd was taken to the hospital where he required stitches. Police investigating the attack say there were two men involved — the one who threw the punch and another who stood across the street and cased the area. They say the attacker was a large man who wore brass knuckles. Police say they have surveillance footage and are looking for the two men. Meanwhile, Redd is out of the hospital and has reportedly hired private security. (TMZ)
