New details emerged for why Adele abruptly postponed her Las Vegas residency.
Blame creative differences with the set designer. According to an insider, the plan proposed to Adele was for her to be hoisted from a pool to create an effect that she was floating on water. The source revealed, (quote) “When Adele saw the finished design, she refused to stand in the middle of it. Adele described the pool as a ‘baggy old pond.’”
There’s a major wrinkle in re-scheduling Adele’s shows inside the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. Two more residencies are booked this year at the venue, Rod Stewart and Sting. (The Sun, UK)
