TYLER THE CREATOR: Tracee Ellis Ross Reacts to Shoutout

Tracee Ellis Ross caught Tyler’s reference to her on his latest album.

The Black-ish actor shared some lyrics from Call Me If You Get Lost where Tyler raps about “switchin’ gears since Tracee Elliss Ross was UPN.” Ross posted some throwback pictures from her days on the early 2000s UPN series Girlfriends. 

She says that she reached out to Tyler after he posted a number on social media but didn’t have any luck getting in touch. She wrote in her Instagram caption, “Tyler, I was lost. And I called like you asked! I wish you had answered but I imagine you are getting a lotttt of calls today. Congrats on an incredible album. So proud of you. Love, Dad.”
