R. KELLY: Sentenced to 30 Years

R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after being convicted on nine federal charges, including sex crimes and human trafficking.

Kelly learned his fate in a federal courthouse in Brooklyn on Wednesday. He was looking at anywhere between 10 years and life behind bars. While he had the chance to give a statement, he declined that opportunity.

Earlier today (Wednesday), a number of Kelly’s victims spoke before the court about his heinous crimes and the impact they had on their lives.

He is likely to get more time tacked on before it’s all said in done — after this, he still has to face the music at a federal case in Illinois and a state trial in Minnesota. (TMZ)
