The jury returned with a verdict on Wednesday in the R. Kelly trial. They found him guilty on a total of six counts for enticing underage girls into sex and creating child pornography.
The prosecutor will request that the judge sentence R. Kelly to as many as 90-years in federal prison. This term to be served only after R. Kelly completes his 30-year stint handed down this year in a New York court.
This Chicago jury acquitted R. Kelly on seven counts, including an allegation he obstructed justice during his 2008 child pornography trial. Two former employees, who were co-defendants in this trial, escaped conviction. (Chicago Tribune)
