MICHAEL JACKSON: Nepo Baby Cast for Biopic

Filming of the Michael Jackson bio-pic begins this year. After a “worldwide casting search,” Jackson will be played by his 26-year-old nephew, Jaafar Jackson.

This is Jaafar’s first movie role. He’s the definition of a Nepo Baby. Jaafar is one of six sons by Michael’s older brother Jermaine Jackson.

The film’s director Antoine Fuqua shared a picture on Instagram of Jaafar rehearsing Jacko’s iconic dance moves. Katherine Jackson said (quote) “Jaafar embodies my son. It’s so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainers and performers.”

Oddly enough, two of Jaafar’s cousins are also his half-siblings. The same woman gave birth to children of both Jermain and little brother, Steven “Randy” Jackson. (Variety)
