KANYE WEST: Sacked by Balenciaga

Kanye West just took a big financial hit due to his recent hate speech outbursts — the Balenciaga fashion house has ended their partnership, effective immediately.

The rapper had collaborated with the company on the line he created for the Gap before that chain cut ties with him. Ye also walked the runway for the label at the same Paris Fashion Week where he unveiled his “White Lives Matter” shirts.

A rep for Balenciaga’s parent company Kering said, “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.” (Forbes)
