JESSICA SIMPSON: Framing Britney Spears Too Triggering

Jessica Simpson does not need to see Framing Britney Spears to join the #FreeBritney crowd. She personally knows Britney and (quote) “I know what she went through.”

This week, Jessica taped The Tamron Hall Show. Her interview will air on Friday. She told the host, (quote) “If I were to watch Framing Britney Spears, that’s like reliving it for me. It’s one of those triggers. It definitely gives me anxiety — I lived it.”

Framing Britney Spears streams on Hulu. The documentary focuses on how the crush of paparazzi and slut-shaming by TV anchors pushed Britney over the edge. When she finally snapped, in 2008, her dad placed her in a protective conservatorship – where she’s been trapped ever since. For years, she’s tried to untangle herself from dad’s tight legal web. (E!
