By now, you’ve probably heard the story of Tessica Brown, a 40-year-old Louisiana teacher who attempted to deal with a bad hair day by spraying Gorilla Glue into her hair.

The good news is that Brown, who has been dubbed Gorilla Glue Girl, has lived to tell the tale, but she had to go to the hospital over the weekend to get treatment for her bad hair nightmare.

Gorilla Glue Girl went on Canadian radio station Kiss 92.5 FM to share the tale of how she was treated with a mix of nail polish remover and saline water, but the treatment proved to be extremely painful.

Since the disaster, Brown has created a GoFundMe and is even considering legal options because Gorilla Glue doesn’t have a specific warning about using the product for your hair.

For its part, Gorilla Glue issued a statement that reads, (quote) “We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best.” (The Root)
