MICHAEL JACKSON: Authorized Bio-Pic on the Way
Michael Jackson‘s life story is coming to the big screen in a new biopic, but don’t expect too much dirt — his estate is helping produce the flick.
Antoine Fuqua, who just directed Will Smith’s Emancipation, will be behind the camera for Michael, while Graham King, the man responsible for the hit Freddie Mercury bio-pic, will produce. The administrators of Jacko’s estate are on board for the film, which will allegedly cover all aspects of the late singer’s life.
The last time filmmakers took a look at Jackson’s career was in the controversial 2019 HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland. (Hollywood Reporter)
