MEGHAN MARKLE: Banned From Slang on Suits

Buckingham Palace forced the scriptwriters on Meghan Markle’s cable drama, Suits, to change her lines. She had to sound ladylike and not speak in slang.

The creator revealed that, in one particular case, the Royals censored her character fighting with a lover (quote) “They did not want to put the word ‘poppycock’ in her mouth. They feared people would edit the video to make it appear she said just the last syllable.”

Meghan left Suits following the 7th season because she and Prince Harry were seriously dating.. All that year, the staff jokingly called The Palace the show’s uncredited script advisor. (The Hollywood Reporter)
