DEMI LOVATO: Banned in the U.K.

Great Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority ruled against Demi Lovato. The bureaucrats determined that her 2022 album cover is “offensive to Christians.”

Several people complained to the U.K.’s watchdog group. Last summer, posters promoting Demi’s album appeared in London at locations where children might see it. Demi is pictured on this album cover in a manner similar to how Jesus Christ is depicted at his crucifixion.

The Advertising Standards Authority stated, (quote) “The image of Ms. Lovato in a bondage-style outfit whilst lying on a mattress shaped like a crucifix was likely to cause serious offense to Christians.” (Billboard)
