Kim’s Lost Word is available on Amazon. The unverified book ends with Kim’s final text to her friends, “He got me.” Kim Porter died not long afterward at age 47 of pneumonia. The text presumably refers to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In the aftermath of Diddy’s arrest, Kim Porter’s death raises suspicions. Al B. Sure wrote at Instagram that Diddy’s entourage needs to be questioned (quote) “It has come to my attention that these persons were instructed to steal her computer and mobile devices, which contained her ‘original book notes.’ Original notes are distinct from the fabricated [BS] and offensive pages circulated via Amazon.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation returns to MTV tonight for its seventh season.

TMZ reports that part of Justin Timberlake’s plea deal to a lesser charge than DUI included sealing the police body camera footage. The arresting officer’s report indicated that Justin was unsteady on his feet and slurred his words. He’s taken heat for failing to address his arrest when appearing this week on The Tonight Show. Instead, Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon spent eight-minutes playing silly games.

Charli XCX reached out to Chappell Roan to lend moral support. She shared earlier how Lorde gave her eight pieces of showbiz advice to survive being thrust into the spotlight. Chappell told a crowd (quote) “I love Charli. Sean “Diddy” Combs remains incarcerated in New York but in Michigan he enjoyed a legal victory. A judge vacated the $100 million awarded to an inmate that sued Diddy for sexual assault at a 1997 party. (TMZ)

Diddy returned to a New York court for the second straight day in an attempt to be released. The judge refused. Diddy is in federal custody until his trial on three counts of transportation of prostitutes, racketeering and sex trafficking. (NBC News)

BET announced nominees for the 19th annual Hip Hop Awards. The ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on October 8. BET will air the Hip Hop Awards one week later. Fat Joe hosts for the third straight year.

The Bear went home with 11 trophies, breaking its own record of 10 comedy wins for a single season set last year. Jeremy Allen White (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series​​​​​) took the acting trophies in the comedy category.

Shogun added four more awards to its record-breaking season. With 14 wins at the Creative Arts Emmys last weekend, the series has the most wins by a show in a single season. On Sunday it was named Outstanding Drama Series, and Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai walked away with top acting honors in a Drama Series.

Netflix’s Baby Reindeer won outstanding limited series or anthology, with creator Richard Gadd taking home trophies for lead actor and writing. His co-star Jessica Gunning won supporting actress.

Jodie Foster won her first Emmy for her role in HBO’s True Detective: Night Country.

Hacks star Jean Smart won lead actress in a comedy, and in the biggest upset of the night, Hacks won outstanding comedy over The Bear.

Father-and-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy hosted the ceremony.

As they did in the previous ceremony, the ceremony showcased several TV reunions, including West Wing, Saturday Night Live and Happy Days.

Although authorities haven’t yet issued and official cause of death, ET cites “longtime Jackson family friend and former Jackson family manager” Steve Manning as saying that Jackson suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma.

Tito was born Toriano Adaryll Jackson on October 15th, 1953 in Gary, Indiana. He was the third child of Joe and Katherine Jackson, following Rebbie [pr: REE-bee] and Jackie, and was five years older than the most famous Jackson brother, Michael. He was an original member of the family group The Jackson 5 and a mainstay of the family’s two bands, and was inducted with his brothers into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

He released two solo albums after the breakup of The Jacksons: Tito Time in 2016 and Under Your Spell in 2021.

He’s survived by his three sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ, who work together in the pop R-&-B group 3T. His wife, Delores “Dee Dee” Martes, who he married in 1972 and divorced in 1988, was murdered in 1994. An L.A. businessman, Donald Bohana, was found guilty of killing her.
