NICK CANNON: Not a “Deadbeat Dad”

Nick Cannon has fathered 12 children with six different women, but he wants us all to know that he’s not a deadbeat dad.

The TV host and media mogul told the Los Angeles Times, “I’ve been villainized. I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So therefore I get this deadbeat dad title.”

While Cannon has a schedule for each of his children and tries to shuttle them around to their various activities, he acknowledges that sometimes he wishes he could spend more time with each kid, but can’t due to his busy schedule.

Nick says, (quote) “It’s not about what I do for you or what I say to you, it’s about how you feel when I’m with you. If you feel loved when you see your dad, that’s what’s gonna resonate.” (E! News)
