MARIAH CAREY: Releasing Another *Butterfly*

Mariah Carey is preparing to let loose another Butterfly — with a 25th anniversary celebration of that album.

Mimi, who calls Butterfly her “favorite” album, will roll out a massive tribute to the 1997 classic starting on Friday. She’ll treat the Lambily to a slew of things from her archive, including eight previously unreleased tracks, several vintage videos and a full-length documentary about the making of the album.

New merchandise and “other surprises” will also hit the market, according to an Instagram video Mariah posted on Thursday.
