A woman in African has likely set a Guinness World Record. The 25-year-old Halima Cisse [pr: CEASE] gave birth on Tuesday to five girls and four boys.

Cisse and her husband had expected “only” seven children. He told reporters, (quote) “God gave us these children. He is the one to decide what will happen to them. When the almighty does something, he knows why.”

Cisse gave birth by caesarean section at 30 weeks or about 10 weeks premature. Doctors say the babies are “all doing well.” Same for Cisse following a blood transfusion due to “heavy bleeding.” (BBC)

The previous record belonged to “Octomom” Nadya Suleman. Her eight children celebrated their 12th birthday in January.
