Only 300 special guests were invited to Beyonce’s private performance in Dubai, Arab United Emirates. She was paid $24 million for an hour-long show at the grand opening of Dubai’s luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal.

Beyonce confiscated phones at the door, yet Lizzo watched remotely via a pirated Instagram Live feed. And video from the show leaked. One clip showed Beyonce and 11-year-old Blue Ivy duetting on “Brown Skin Girl” from The Lion King soundtrack. Not one of the songs from the Renaissance album were on Saturday’s setlist. Among the international power-players in attendance were notable entertainers such as Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Liam Payne, Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey, Ellen Pompeo, Letitia Wright and Winston Duke. (Variety)

Friday night, Kendall Jenner hosted a “pre-game” party featuring her 818 Tequila brand. Dubai tolerates drinking but the national laws heavily restrict homosexual relationships. (Daily Mail)
