I have been making this no bake Oreo cream pie for as long as I can remember. My kids request it for their birthday cakes, and it’s my tried & true dessert that seems to make it’s way to every get together and picnic.

I have been making this no bake Oreo cream pie for as long as I can remember. My kids request it for their birthday cakes, and it’s my tried & true dessert that seems to make it’s way to every get together and picnic.

Plus it’s no bake so it is easy to make. It is actually the first recipe that my daughter requested I teach her how to make!

An Oreo cookie crust filled with an Oreo cream filling, and topped with freshly whipped cream and chopped Oreo cookies for garnish. This is a must-make for all the Oreo lovers out there (me!).

INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE OREO CREAM PIE

Oreo Cookie Crust – Make it easy on yourself and buy the store bought one. I actually prefer the store bought crumb and cookie crusts because they hold together so much better, and when you cut into them they don’t crumble all over.

Heavy Whipping Cream

Cream Cheese – The full fat cream cheese is the best to use for flavor and texture. You can get away with using the reduced-fat cream cheese but the taste won’t be as good.

Granulated Sugar – I get a lot of comments about people being worried that the sugar won’t dissolve and therefore make the cream cheese part grainy. I promise you that it does not turn out grainy. Just make sure you soften the cream cheese well so the sugar can get mixed in well.

Vanilla Extract

Chopped Oreo Cookies – Use a knife to cut these up or my favorite way is to put them in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag and then chop them up with a meat mallet, rolling pin, or something else heavy. I also do extra to sprinkle on top before serving.

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS OREO PIE

– The fresh whipped cream is best for this pie. It tastes so much better. But if you need to, go ahead and substitute an 8 oz carton of Cool Whip instead.

– As mentioned before, I prefer the store bought Oreo crust because it holds together so well but you can make your own if you want. Here is a recipe for a homemade Oreo pie crust

– This pie is much better if it has had time to sit in the fridge for at least 8 hours. I always make it the night before I need it. Leftovers are good for a few days but the Oreo cookies will soften up as it sits in the fridge.

OTHER OREO DESSERT RECIPES YOU WILL LOVE

Cookies & Cream Oreo Brownies – The best homemade brownies (or use a boxed brownie mix) stuffed with Oreo cookies and “frosted” with melted Cookies n’ Cream Hershey chocolate bars. You have to try these!

Triple Layer Oreo Pudding Pie – This is a no bake pie with three layers of Oreo pudding goodness. It’s the perfect dessert to make the day before.

Oreo Cookies & Cream Pudding Cookies – The softest cookies you will ever eat. Loaded with Oreo cookies, chocolate chips, and an Oreo instant pudding mix.

Cookies & Cream Blondie Bars – The best blondie bar recipe stuffed full of Oreo cookies and cookies n’ cream Hershey chocolate bars.

No Bake Oreo Cream Pie

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 6 hours 10 minutes
In medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy {to avoid lumps make sure cream cheese is really soft or place in microwave for 20 seconds}. Add in vanilla extract and granulated sugar. Beat until combined and creamy.
In separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. This will take several minutes.
Using a rubber spatula, add the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and gently mix together. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and combine.
Dump into the pie crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving. I prefer to refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, garnish with additional whipped cream and crushed Oreos if wanted.
Oreo Cookies : I use closer to 2 cups chopped Oreos because we love them!

Cream Cheese : You want to make sure that the cream cheese is nice and soft so the sugar blends in nicely. Place the unwrapped bar onto a microwave-safe plate and microwave for about 20-30 seconds.

Heavy Whipping Cream Substitutions : If you really must, you can substitute an 8 oz tub of Cool Whip for the heavy whipping cream. But it tastes much better when you whip your own heavy cream. It’s simple to whip but does take a few minutes.

Garnish : To make the whipped cream garnish on top easy use a can of reddi-whip to garnish the top. Or, whip additional heavy cream with some powdered sugar (2-3 tablespoons to sweeten it) and spread it on top or pipe it on the edges.
